PART A: TECHNICAL FEASIBILITY UPDATE

Technical feasibility review and update: Assessing the current feasibility study and updating engineering designs to reflect current site conditions, climate risks, and lender expectations.

Hydrological and geotechnical assessments: Verifying data and site stability to ensure reliable and safe operation of core infrastructure.

Design of additional infrastructure: Including sediment mitigation weirs, a spillway, and a fish ladder to strengthen environmental compliance and long-term sustainability.

Regulatory and risk compliance: Ensuring that all technical components align with national regulations and international standards expected by DFIs and commercial lenders.

 

PART B: ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT (ESIA) UPDATE

A comprehensive review and update of the project’s Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and associated documents.

A Climate Vulnerability Assessment (CVA) to identify climate risks affecting the project and develop adaptation strategies.
