Mwayukwayuka, Mwoshi and Chakua Matumbu
Client: Rural Electrification Authority (REA), Zambia
HydroDelft supported the development of three off-grid hybrid renewable energy projects in Mwayukwayuka, Mwoshi and Chakua Matumbu under an EU-funded rural electrification programme, with Turbulent as technology partner. The projects deliver a combined 740 kW, integrating micro-hydropower with solar PV to bring reliable, sustainable electricity to around 10,000 people in remote communities.
